The Merge Right sign warns drivers that traffic from the left is merging into their lane ahead in a work zone. Used in temporary traffic control applications under MUTCD Part 6 where lane closures or shifts require vehicles to merge to the right.

Note: The W4-1R (merge right) and W4-1L (merge left) are sold as separate signs. MUTCD minimum size for merge signs is 36" x 36". Choose the sign size based on roadway type and required visibility. The 36" x 36" is standard for conventional roads. The 48" x 48" is for expressways and freeways. Manufactured on .080" rustproof aluminum with rounded corners and pre-punched mounting holes. Hardware sold separately. 48" signs ship truck freight.
