Shipping Methods

Orders ship from U.S.-based facilities. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination.

  • Standard signs and hardware ship via UPS Ground.
  • Oversize or heavy shipments (sign posts, large-quantity orders) ship via LTL motor freight.
  • Expedited shipping (UPS 2-Day or Next Day) is available at additional cost.

Delivery Area

We currently ship to the contiguous United States. Alaska and Hawaii may require a custom freight quote — contact us before placing your order for pricing and availability. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Small Order Processing Fee

A small processing fee may apply to orders that do not meet our minimum order threshold. This fee is automatically waived on larger orders. Details are shown in your cart before checkout.

Residential & Limited-Access Deliveries

We ship to both commercial and residential addresses. Orders shipped via LTL freight to residential locations or sites without a loading dock may be subject to additional delivery surcharges. If your delivery location does not have a loading dock or forklift access, we recommend selecting freight terminal hold for pickup when available.

Order Processing Times

In-stock items typically ship within 1–2 business days. During peak seasons and holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days. Custom signs, large volume orders, or specialty items may require additional manufacturing lead time. If your order is time-sensitive, contact us before placing your order for a lead time estimate.

Orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages or shipments.

Order Tracking

After your order ships, you will receive an email with carrier and tracking details to monitor your shipment every step of the way.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Please inspect all packages carefully upon delivery.

UPS deliveries: If a package appears damaged, note the damage when signing. Photograph the packaging and product, then contact us within 48 hours.

LTL freight deliveries: Inspect all items before signing the delivery receipt. Note any damage, shortages, or discrepancies directly on the carrier's delivery receipt. Photograph all damage immediately. Contact us within 48 hours with your order number and photos.

IMPORTANT: Your signature on the delivery receipt indicates you have received the shipment in good condition. If you sign for a damaged or short shipment without noting it on the driver's receipt, you release the carrier from liability, and we cannot issue a refund or replacement.


Returns & Refunds

Return Eligibility

We accept returns of stock items in unused, resalable condition within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original packaging with all components included.

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom legend signs or signs with custom artwork
  • Products that have been installed, modified, or damaged after delivery
  • Items returned without prior authorization

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, email us at support@roadsigns.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number along with the return shipping address and instructions. Return authorizations expire 30 days after issuance.

Do not return items to the address on the original shipping label. Returns are not accepted without a valid RA number. Authorized returns must be sent to the specific address provided with your RA number.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of 15% of the returned item(s) subtotal applies to all eligible returns. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Items must be returned in the same packaging and condition in which they were received.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing. Refunds are applied to the original payment method. Original shipping costs and Small Order Processing Fees are non-refundable.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@roadsigns.com. Include your order number, photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging, and a description of the issue. We will arrange a replacement at no charge for items confirmed damaged or defective upon arrival. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued for the affected item(s).

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled at no charge before production has begun. Once an item is in production or has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the standard return process.
