Overview
Description
Steel drive cap for installing 2 lb/ft U-channel sign posts. The cap sits over the top of the post and takes the blows from a sledgehammer or post driver, protecting the post top and its punched holes from mushrooming during installation.
At 4.5 lbs of solid steel, it also spreads each blow across the full post profile so the post drives straighter.
Installation Notes
Fits 2 lb/ft U-channel posts. Place the cap on the post top, drive the post to depth, then lift the cap off. Reusable across unlimited installations.
