MUTCD Compliant Extruded Blade Street Name Signs

These custom extruded street name signs are built for road-grade use on private roads, neighborhoods, HOAs, campuses, facilities, business parks, and replacement street name blades. Each sign is printed on reflective extruded aluminum with standard street name colors, mixed-case lettering, and a layout designed around MUTCD street name sign guidance.

The extruded blade version uses a more rigid formed aluminum profile than a standard flat blade. It is a good choice when you want a premium blade, need to match an existing extruded street name sign system, or are using brackets made for extruded street name blades.

Extruded Blade vs Flat Blade

Blade Sizes and Lettering

Sizes are shown as width x height. Shorter names can use shorter blades, while longer street names or larger lettering may need a wider blade.

Reflective Sheeting Options

High Intensity Prismatic is the standard reflective option for this product. Diamond Grade DG3 is a premium upgrade with brighter reflectivity and a longer standard sheeting warranty.

Standard Color Schemes

Choose from standard street name sign color schemes. The legend is white on green, blue, brown, or black backgrounds. White background signs use black legend.

Prefix and Suffix Position

Prefix and suffix text is shown at about half the height of the main street name. You can place the prefix and suffix at the top, middle, or bottom of the layout.

If you need the prefix to be the same size as the main street name, enter it directly in the Street Name field. The suffix remains smaller in the standard builder.

Text Guidelines

• Use upper and lower case text, such as Maple Ave
• Use standard abbreviations for prefixes and suffixes, such as N, NE, NW, St, Ave, Rd, Dr, Way, or Blvd
• Use letters and numbers only in the basic builder
• Use all-capital text only when matching an existing sign or project requirement
• Do not use punctuation, special characters, block numbers, logos, or arrows in the basic builder
• Longer names, logos, arrows, route shields, and two-line layouts should be quoted before production

Sign Blade Only

This product is the custom extruded street name sign blade only. Posts, brackets, caps, crosspieces, mounting hardware, security bolts, and installation tools are sold separately unless included in a quoted street name sign system.
