The Bridge Closed Sign is used at or near the point where a bridge is closed to traffic. It follows the R11-2 road-closure sign family and is intended for use with proper advance warning and detour signing as part of an approved traffic control plan.

This 48" x 30" regulatory closure sign features a black BRIDGE CLOSED legend on a white reflective background. It is commonly mounted on or above a Type 3 barricade at the closure point.

For Texas projects, this legend is associated with the Texas MUTCD bridge-closure sign designation R11-2bT. For non-Texas projects, confirm the required legend and sign designation with the authority having jurisdiction.

Sign post, mounting hardware, brackets, barricades, and warning lights are sold separately. Ships truck freight.
