The W1-1aL gives advance notice of a turn to the left together with the advisory speed for it. Black left turn arrow above a black 40 legend on a yellow retroreflective background, installed in advance of the turn per MUTCD Chapter 2C.

This listing is for the 40 MPH version. Other advisory speeds are available as separate listings. Two sizes are available. The 36" x 36" is standard for conventional roads. The 48" x 48" is for expressways, freeways, and enhanced conspicuity. DG3 Fluorescent Yellow sheeting is available where extra daytime conspicuity is needed. Manufactured on .080" rustproof aluminum with rounded corners and pre-punched mounting holes. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately. 48" signs ship truck freight.
