The W10-5 warns drivers of a highway-rail grade crossing with a raised profile where trucks, lowboys, car carriers, and other long or low-clearance vehicles may hang up on the tracks. Black symbol on a yellow retroreflective background, used in advance of the crossing per MUTCD Chapter 8B. Two sizes are currently available. The 36" x 36" is for single and multi-lane roads. The 48" x 48" is for expressways, or oversized for enhanced conspicuity. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
