Overview
Description
An eight-sided .080" aluminum blank cut to the stop sign shape, with two 3/8" holes punched for a single post. Cover it with red sheeting and a white legend to build your own stop sign, or use it for an octagon of any message.
The MUTCD calls for a 30" stop sign on most single-lane approaches and 36" on multi-lane roads. The 24" octagon suits parking lots and private drives.
Good to know
Blanks ship bare. A finished stop sign needs red reflective sheeting on the face to meet the MUTCD at night.
