Here the arrow sits after STREET and points right, for a button that controls a crossing on that side. The wording leaves no doubt that pressing the button alone is not enough: people still wait for the walking person to light up.

Every R10-3a we sell is 9" x 15", matching Table 2B-1 of the MUTCD. Mounting hardware and brackets are sold separately.
