The R2-5a Reduced Speed Ahead sign alerts drivers that they are approaching a reduced speed zone. Black REDUCED SPEED AHEAD legend on a white retroreflective background. It is used in advance of speed transitions where drivers should be warned before reaching the new posted speed.

Two sizes are available. The 18" x 24" is a compact option for lower-speed or low-volume roads. The 24" x 30" is commonly used for conventional road applications. Custom sizes are available on request. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
