Right Shoulder Closed Sign W21-5aR

The Right Shoulder Closed sign warns drivers that the right shoulder is closed at the sign location. Used in temporary traffic control applications under MUTCD Part 6 where shoulder work, utility repairs, or construction restricts access to the right shoulder. Choose the sign size based on roadway type and required visibility. For a plant access road or a campus drive with a paved edge under repair, a lighter 24" x 24" panel is available. The 30" x 30" is the minimum for low-volume roads. The 36" x 36" is standard for conventional roads. The 48" x 48" is for expressways and freeways. Manufactured on .080" rustproof aluminum with rounded corners and pre-punched mounting holes. Hardware sold separately. 48" signs ship truck freight.
