The Road Closed 1 Mile sign warns drivers that the road is closed approximately one mile ahead. Used in temporary traffic control applications under MUTCD Part 6 on freeways and expressways where early advance warning is critical.

This listing is for the ROAD CLOSED 1 MILE version of the W20-3 sign. Choose the sign size based on roadway type and required visibility. A smaller 24" x 24" suits private roads, such as a long quarry or plant access road, where the closure is about a mile in. The 30" x 30", 36" x 36", and 48" x 48" cover public roads, with the larger panels easier to read at highway speed. Manufactured on .080" rustproof aluminum with rounded corners and pre-punched mounting holes. Other distance variants are available as separate listings.
