Overview
Description
The Round Surface Mount Post Anchor Base mounts a 2-3/8" outside diameter round sign post to concrete without digging. It is a breakaway base: the post fits over a short stub that bolts into the base, so the post can break away on impact while the base stays in place.
A good fit for parking lots, garages, sidewalks and any paved spot where posts can't be driven into the ground.
Installation Notes
Fasten the base to the concrete with four 1/2" x 4" concrete anchor screws (sold separately). The two bolts that attach the stub to the base are included. Not for asphalt: asphalt slowly gives way under steady force, so anchors loosen in it within days. Post sold separately.
