Overview
Description
The Surface Mount Post Anchor Base mounts a U-channel sign post to concrete without digging. A 10" x 10" x 1/4" steel base plate carries a 6" U-post sleeve that accepts 2 to 3 lb/ft U-channel posts.
Ideal for parking lots, garages, sidewalks, and any concrete surface where posts cannot be driven into the ground.
Installation Notes
Fasten the base plate to the concrete with four 1/2" x 4" concrete anchor screws (sold separately). Insert the post into the sleeve and secure. Not for asphalt: asphalt slowly gives way under steady force, so anchors loosen in it within days. Post sold separately.
