The S4-3P is a supplemental plaque that mounts below a school zone warning sign to identify the area as a school zone. Black "SCHOOL" legend on a fluorescent yellow-green retroreflective background. Used under MUTCD Part 7 to enhance School Crossing (S1-1), School Bus Stop Ahead (S3-1), school zone speed limit, and other school area signs.

Two sizes are available. The 24" x 8" is for single-lane roads. The 36" x 12" is for multi-lane roads. Fluorescent yellow-green sheeting is required per MUTCD. Mounts directly below the associated school zone sign on the same post. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
