Overview
Description
The Snap'n Safe Surface Mount is a cast gray iron breakaway system that mounts a 2 to 4 lb/ft U-channel sign post directly to concrete. It withstands winds of 120 mph, yet releases the post cleanly on vehicle impact, and the base stays anchored and reusable.
Ideal for parking structures, medians, and paved areas where posts cannot be driven into the ground and vehicle strikes are likely.
Installation Notes
Drill three holes in the concrete using the base as a guide, secure the coupler to the concrete with three bolts, then attach the sign post with two bolts. Installation hardware included. Concrete surfaces only. Post sold separately.
