The R2-5E informs drivers that speed is monitored by radar in the area. Black "SPEED CHECKED BY RADAR" legend on a white retroreflective background. Typically mounted below a Speed Limit (R2-1) sign to reinforce speed enforcement and encourage compliance.

Two sizes are available. The 18" x 24" is the standard size. The 24" x 30" provides enhanced visibility on higher-speed roads. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
