The R4-9 sign instructs drivers to remain in their current lane and prohibits lane changes through the section where it is installed. Black STAY IN LANE legend on a white retroreflective background. Used on bridges, in tunnels, in work zones, and at locations where lane changes could create hazards or disrupt traffic flow.

Four sizes are available. The 18" x 24" is for low-volume roads. The 24" x 30" is for conventional roads. The 36" x 48" is for expressways and oversized installations. The 48" x 60" is for freeway use. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately. 48" x 60" signs ship truck freight.
