Street Closed (Blank) Sign W20-3

The Street Closed sign with blank distance area allows the installing agency to add a custom distance or leave blank for general street closure notification. Used in temporary traffic control applications under MUTCD Part 6 in urban areas where a standard distance legend does not match the site conditions.

This listing is for the blank distance version of the Street Closed W20-3 sign. The distance area is left open for field application or general use. "Street Closed" is the urban alternative to "Road Closed" per MUTCD guidance. Choose the sign size based on roadway type and required visibility. For a closed street inside a private development or a university campus, the 18" x 18" and 24" x 24" take up less room on a stand or barricade. The 30" x 30", 36" x 36", and 48" x 48" are meant for public streets, with the larger two better on wide arterials. Manufactured on .080" rustproof aluminum with rounded corners and pre-punched mounting holes. Hardware sold separately. 48" signs ship truck freight.
