Utility Work Blank Sign W21-7

The Utility Work sign with blank distance area allows the installing agency to add a custom distance or leave blank. Used in temporary traffic control applications under MUTCD Part 6 where a standard distance legend does not match the site conditions.

This listing is for the blank distance version of the W21-7 sign. The distance area is left open for field application or general use without a specific distance. Choose the sign size based on roadway type and required visibility. Utility crews working inside an industrial park or on a school campus have the 24" x 24" as the smallest option. For public streets, the 30" x 30" and 36" x 36" are mid-size choices, and wide, fast roads suit the 48" x 48". Manufactured on .080" rustproof aluminum with rounded corners and pre-punched mounting holes. Other distance variants are available as separate listings. Hardware sold separately. 48" signs ship truck freight.
