The R1-2 Yield Sign is used to assign right-of-way where traffic must slow down or stop when necessary before entering or crossing conflicting traffic. It is commonly used at unsignalized intersections, merge points, roundabout approaches, and path crossings where yield control is required.

This sign features the standard red YIELD legend and red border on a white retroreflective background. It is made from .080" rustproof aluminum with 3M reflective sheeting options.

Choose the Right Size

18" x 18" x 18": MUTCD bicycle-facility size for off-road bicycle facilities and shared-use path applications. Not intended as the standard road-size yield sign.

30" x 30" x 30": Minimum-size option where a smaller R1-2 yield sign is permitted by the authority having jurisdiction.

36" x 36" x 36": Standard size for many single-lane conventional road applications.

48" x 48" x 48": Larger size commonly used for multi-lane conventional roads and expressway applications.

For freeway applications or projects requiring a 60" x 60" x 60" yield sign, please request a quote.

Note: 48" signs ship truck freight.
