Placed on the outside of a sharp bend to the right, the W1-6R gives drivers a big, clear arrow to steer by at night and in bad weather. It can back up or stand in for the turn warning posted in advance, and pairs well with a Hairpin Curve or 270 Degree Loop sign. Black arrow on a yellow retroreflective background, per MUTCD Chapter 2C.

Four sizes are currently available. The 48" x 24" is the standard size for conventional roads. The 60" x 30" is for expressways and freeways, or oversized for enhanced conspicuity. The 24" x 12" is the MUTCD size for shared-use paths. The 36" x 18" is a compact size for driveways, parking lots and private roads. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
