The W13-1P is a supplemental plaque that mounts below a warning sign to recommend a safe speed for the condition ahead. Black "5 MPH" legend on a yellow retroreflective background. Commonly paired with turn signs (W1-1), curve signs (W1-2), and other advance warning signs where a speed reduction is advised.

This is an advisory speed - not a regulatory speed limit. It recommends a safe travel speed for the specific condition, not a legal maximum. Standard size is 18" x 18" per MUTCD specifications.
