Crossroad Railroad Crossing Left Warning Sign W10-2L

Used on a road that runs alongside railroad tracks, before a crossroad where the left leg crosses the tracks right after the intersection. It warns drivers turning left that they will meet a grade crossing almost at once. MUTCD Section 8B.06 requires a W10-2, W10-3 or W10-4 sign on the parallel road when the tracks are less than 100 feet away.

Four sizes are currently available. The 36" x 36" is the MUTCD size for single-lane and multi-lane roads, and the 48" x 48" is for expressways, or oversized. For private crossings at plants and rail yards, 24" x 24" and 30" x 30" are also made, smaller than the MUTCD size for public roads. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
