Match the sign's shape

Your sign is a rectangle, so a design with the same shape fits best: a tall design for a tall sign, a wide design for a wide sign. If your file is a different shape, you decide on the preview: keep the whole design (white shows on two sides) or make it bigger to cover the sign (the extra is cut off). Drag it to move it and pull a corner to resize it. The preview shows what prints.
