The M4-8 Detour plaque is used in temporary traffic control applications under MUTCD Part 6 to guide drivers through a detour route. Black DETOUR legend on an orange retroreflective background. Installed at each turn in the detour sequence so drivers can follow the route from start to finish without ambiguity. Commonly mounted on barricades, sign posts, or portable sign stands at intersections where detour turns are required.

Two sizes are available per MUTCD Table 6F-1. The 24" x 12" is for conventional roads. The 30" x 15" is for freeways and expressways. Hardware sold separately.
