The D9-13 uses the six-pointed medical star to mark emergency medical services, such as an ambulance station or a facility that gives emergency care. The MUTCD requires a plaque under it naming the service: HOSPITAL, AMBULANCE STATION, EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE or TRAUMA CENTER. White medical star symbol on a blue retroreflective background, per MUTCD Chapter 2I.

Sized at 24" x 24" or 30" x 30" for roadside posts and building approaches. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
