End Work Zone Speed Limit Sign R2-12

The R2-12 marks the downstream end of a reduced work zone speed limit, so drivers know the normal limit applies again. It is often used with a WORK ZONE plaque (G20-5aP) on top of the speed limit sign at the start of the zone. Black END WORK ZONE SPEED LIMIT legend on a white retroreflective background, per MUTCD Part 6.

Two sizes are currently available. The 24" x 36" is the standard size for conventional roads. The 36" x 54" is for freeways and expressways. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
