The W8-15 warns drivers and motorcyclists of a grooved pavement surface in a work zone. Black GROOVED PAVEMENT legend on a fluorescent orange retroreflective background. Used under MUTCD Part 6 for temporary traffic control during milling and resurfacing. Three sizes are currently available. The 30" x 30" is for single and multi-lane conventional roads. The 36" x 36" is for expressways and high-speed roadways. The 48" x 48" is for freeways. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
