Motorcycle Plaque W8-15aP

The W8-15aP shows a motorcycle and rider, and is mounted above or below a GROOVED PAVEMENT or METAL BRIDGE DECK sign when the warning is meant mainly for motorcyclists (MUTCD Section 2C.31). The 2009 MUTCD called it W8-15P. Black rider-and-motorcycle symbol on a yellow retroreflective plaque.

Three sizes are currently available. The 24" x 18" is the MUTCD size for conventional roads, the 30" x 24" for expressways and the 36" x 30" for freeways or oversized signs, to match the warning sign it is paired with. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
