The W14-3 is the MUTCD pennant-shaped sign placed at the beginning of a no-passing zone. Black "NO PASSING ZONE" legend on a yellow or fluorescent orange retroreflective background depending on sheeting selected. The pennant shape — a horizontal isosceles triangle pointing right — is unique to this sign and immediately recognizable to drivers.

Three sizes match MUTCD roadway classifications. The 40" x 40" x 30" is for low-volume roads. The 48" x 48" x 36" is for conventional single and multi-lane roads. The 64" x 64" x 48" is for expressways and freeways.

Three reflective sheeting options are available: High Intensity Prismatic (HIP), Diamond Grade Fluorescent Orange, and Diamond Grade DG3. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.

48" and larger signs ship truck freight.
