Warns bicyclists and other path users that a shared-use path gets narrower ahead, at a bridge, tunnel, gate or pinch point, so riders can slow down and single up. The MUTCD lists it among the bicycle warning signs for shared-use paths, placed at least 50 feet before the change (Section 9C.08). Black legend on yellow.

Five sizes are currently available. The 18" x 18" is the MUTCD size for shared-use paths. The 24" x 24" to 48" x 48" are larger versions, beyond the MUTCD path size, for wide trails, park roads and drives shared with cars. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
