The W3-5 sign warns drivers of a reduced speed limit ahead. The sign displays the upcoming speed limit value inside a speed limit sign symbol on a yellow diamond background. Used in advance of a speed limit change where the new limit may not be visible in time, where the speed differential is significant, or where engineering judgment indicates the change should be flagged in advance.

This listing is for the 35 MPH version. Other speed values are available as separate listings. Choose the sign size based on roadway type and required visibility. The 36" x 36" is standard for conventional roads. The 48" x 48" is for expressways and freeways. Fluorescent Yellow sheeting is available for enhanced conspicuity in school zones and high-pedestrian areas.
