The W1-1R is placed in advance of a right turn to give drivers warning of the change in road alignment. Black right-turn arrow symbol on a yellow retroreflective background. Required under MUTCD Chapter 2C at locations where the road curves sharply enough to require advance notice. Two sizes are currently available. The 30" x 30" is for single-lane roads. The 36" x 36" is for multi-lane roads, expressways, and freeways. Both sizes mount to a single post with pre-punched 3/8" mounting holes. Note: The W1-1R (right turn) and W1-1L (left turn) are sold as separate signs. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
