Road Work Next 5 Miles Sign G20-1

The G20-1 goes in advance of work zones that run longer than 2 miles, so drivers know how far the work stretches before they are in it. This version reads NEXT 5 MILES; the MUTCD states the distance to the nearest whole mile, and the sign may be mounted on a Type 3 barricade. Black ROAD WORK NEXT 5 MILES legend on an orange retroreflective background, per MUTCD Part 6.

Two sizes are currently available. The 36" x 18" is for conventional roads. The 48" x 24" is the size for freeways and expressways. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
