South Route Marker Plaque M3-3

Marks the southbound direction of a numbered route. It is mounted above the route sign in confirming assemblies past an intersection and in directional assemblies at the turn, often with an arrow plaque below the shield.

One page, three colors, so the plaque always matches the shield under it: black on white, white on blue over an Interstate, yellow on blue over a county route sign. The white 24" x 12" plate fits most roads, with 30" x 15" (not a size the MUTCD table lists) and the oversized 36" x 18" for wider, faster roads; the blue plates are 24" x 12" only. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
