The R2-5P Unless Otherwise Posted plaque mounts below a Speed Limit (R2-1) sign to indicate that the posted speed limit applies on all roads in the area unless another speed limit sign overrides it. Black UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED legend on a white retroreflective background. Common at jurisdictional boundaries and area entrances where a default speed applies to all roads within.

Two sizes are available. The 24" x 18" is for conventional roads. The 36" x 24" is for multi-lane and higher-speed roads. Mounts directly below the associated Speed Limit sign on the same post. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
