Van Accessible Plaque R7-8aP

The R7-8aP goes directly under a Reserved Parking R7-8 sign to mark a space wide enough for a wheelchair van, with its access aisle beside it. The 2023 MUTCD requires this plaque wherever an accessible space is designed for vans (Section 2B.53). The 2009 edition called it R7-8P; the face is the same green VAN ACCESSIBLE legend on white retroreflective sheeting.

Two sizes are currently available. The 12" x 6" is the MUTCD size and lines up with the 12" wide R7-8 sign. The 18" x 9" is a larger plaque for an 18" x 24" accessible parking sign. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
