The W1-15L warns of a loop that turns left through about 270 degrees, the shape of a cloverleaf ramp. A large arrow or a run of chevrons on the outer edge keeps the path clear. Black 270 degree loop symbol on a yellow retroreflective background, per MUTCD Chapter 2C.

Five sizes are currently available. The 30" x 30" is the standard size for conventional roads. The 36" x 36" is for expressways. The 48" x 48" is for freeways, or oversized for enhanced conspicuity. Parking ramps and private loop roads can use the extra 24" x 24" or 18" x 18" sizes, which are under the MUTCD minimum for public roads. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
