On a ramp or mountain road that circles right through roughly three quarters of a turn, the W1-15R gives drivers advance notice. It is commonly posted at the start of a loop ramp, with chevrons around the far side. Black 270 degree loop symbol on a yellow retroreflective background, per MUTCD Chapter 2C.

Three sizes are currently available. The 30" x 30" is the standard size for conventional roads. The 36" x 36" is for expressways. The 48" x 48" is for freeways, or oversized for enhanced conspicuity. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
