The W4-4P mounts below a STOP sign at an intersection where only some approaches stop, to warn drivers that traffic on the cross street will not stop for them. Black CROSS TRAFFIC DOES NOT STOP legend on a yellow retroreflective background, per MUTCD Chapter 2C.

Four sizes are currently available. The 24" x 12" is the standard size for most intersections. The 36" x 18" and 48" x 24" pair with larger STOP signs on wider or faster roads. A 30" x 15" is also made, a middle size between the 24" x 12" and the 36" x 18". Mounts below the STOP sign on the same post. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
