No Hitchhiking Symbol Sign R9-4

Bans standing in or beside the road to ask passing drivers for a ride. The MUTCD offers the R9-4 symbol sign for this (Section 2B.56), and it is a common sight near freeway on-ramps.

Choose 18" x 18" for ordinary roadsides and ramps or the oversized 24" x 24" where it must be seen from farther away; those are the two R9-4 sizes in the MUTCD. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
