The R9-3a sign prohibits pedestrian crossing using a text-only legend. Black NO PEDESTRIAN CROSSING legend on a white retroreflective background. Used at intersections, mid-block locations, and other points where pedestrian crossing is not permitted. The text legend may be preferred in jurisdictions where written messages provide clearer communication than symbols.

Standard size is 12" x 18". The R9-3 symbol version is also available as a separate listing. Sign post, mounting hardware, and brackets are sold separately.
